You can read all about the history of Maggie's Kitchen and your home cook, Maggie, on the My Story page. Maggie's Kitchen is a blog on my adventures and joys with food and home cooking. It will also include hopefully helpful Kitchen Tips to help you as you enjoy your kitchen and cooking. Favourite Finds will feature interesting food items or discoveries that I come across which might introduce you to them before you actually make a purchase.

How many of you love cookbooks and have way too many only to discover that they may not suit you very well? Well in my Cookbook Reviews page, I endeavour to give you an insight and review on some of the cookbooks that I have by testing their recipes. Hopefully this will help in your decision to get them or not when you fancy a cookbook shop. Who knows, maybe some of the chefs who have their own cookbook and are reading this might like me to review theirs? I would love to, send them over! :-D

Another one of my services is the Kitchen Sessions. These are cooking lessons designed to help the beginner cook to easily and confidently cook meals for themselves, their families and friends. I am no gourmet chef, just a down to earth, practical but creative home cook who's a mum of two who wants to feed herself, her family and her friends beautiful, wholesome meals.

Other Chit Chat covers my misadventures in my fledging fruit and veggies garden (I'm no awesome gardener, but I try. Helpful tips are most welcome from those with green thumbs!) :-). Also covering another great passion of mine - Dance. Please humour me by allowing me to share with you my dance stories in Random Stuff. And lastly, I believe in contributing to those in need and would like to share my little community projects and involvement with you in Maggie's Projects.

That's it! This really is just a place for me to play and write about how I've been playing. Welcome :-)

I aspire to be an artist, but in cooking. My pans and pots are my canvas, my fresh produce and ingredients the paint, my ladles and wooden spoons the paint brushes, and my plating dish the frame. And as one shares and enjoys a work of art with friends and family, so do I as I love to try out different and new recipes and see my friends and family enjoy eating them!
